A team of pupils from Ysgol Bro Morgannwg were among the winners of an engineering challenge for students.
The Institution of Civil Engineers holds an annual event for 16-18 year olds from across South Wales.
Students are tasked with developing a design and constructing a structure with the equipment and materials provided on the day.

This year's challenge was to build a two-storey structure from two decks of cards, which could not be cut or torn, together with blue tack and a small mat.
It had to withstand at least 100g with a base of 300m x 300m.
For their efforts, the WGLSD team - consisting of Aled Phillips, Will Thomas, Conor Williams, Llion Vaterlaws and Evan Boult won the aesthetics category.
