The Mayor of Barry will round off his Mayoral Year with a Bavarian Night Celebration in April.
Hosted by the Mayor of Barry, Cllr Dennis Clarke, and the Chair of Dinas Powys Community Council, Cllr Jonathan Cowpe, the event will be held at Millwood Bowling Club on Friday, 24 April from 7.30pm.
The evening marks the end of Cllr Clarke’s Mayoral Year, with Barry Town Council promising a “lively celebration for the local community.”
Guests can look forward to an evening of entertainment as the Just Cheese Oompah Band perform a mix of traditional Bavarian favourites, including foot-stomping polkas and waltzes, alongside unexpected pop covers delivered with a lively brass twist.
Attendees are encouraged to embrace the theme by donning their lederhosen and dancing shoes for a night of music, fun and celebration.
Tickets cost £25 per person (plus booking fee) and include a buffet.
The event is a fundraiser in aid of the charities chosen by the Mayor of Barry and the Chair of Dinas Powys Community Council, helping to support important causes within the community.
