A Police operation across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan on Wednesday saw 32 people arrested.
These arrests included alleged shoplifters and violent offenders, as well as those with outstanding warrants.
Since then, four people have been charged, and a further three people have been convicted, in an operation which aimed to bring wanted people into custody.
A total of 32 people, including eight on suspicion of theft from a shop, three on suspicion of assault, three on suspicion of affray and two on suspicion of domestic-related offences, were arrested during the day of intensification. The total also included three people wanted on a warrant and two people wanted on recall to prison.
Dwain Roberts, of Butetown, was charged with three counts of theft from a shop and one count of attempted theft from a shop.
David Hewings, 43, of Llanrumney, was charged with three counts of attempted burglary of a dwelling with an intent to steal, and three counts of burglary of a dwelling and theft, and one count of burglary with intent to steal.
Christina Cirpaci, 25, of Newport, was charged with two counts of theft from a shop and obstruction of a constable in execution of duty.
Lynsey Wyatt, 40, of Cadoxton, Neath Port Talbot, was charged with one count of theft from a shop.
A further three people have already been convicted following their arrests. Damion Spriggs, 26, of Trowbridge was convicted of two counts of theft from a shop and one count of possession of a controlled drug of class A. He will be sentenced at a later date.
Adrian Shellam, 50, of Cardiff, was jailed for eight weeks for one count of theft from a shop and one count of breach of a criminal behaviour order.
Anthony Summerhayes, 39, of Cardiff, was jailed for 24 weeks for four counts of theft from a shop.
Chief Inspector Matthew Hicks of the Cardiff and Vale command unit said: “Arrests for those wanted on warrant or suspected of committing a crime happen in our communities every day. However, these intensification operations can happen anytime, anywhere, and we are already seeing the positive outcomes of this.
“We are committed to pursuing those doing harm to our community and bringing them to justice. If you have concerns in your area, please report them and we will act."
