Work is continuing to transform a former public convenience into new restuarants at Barry Island.
The Grade-II listed building at Nell's Point is being redeveloped into a handful of new commercial units.
Already, preliminary works have been carried out to secure the building's structure - and now, developers are carrying out a series of restoration projects to preserve its original features, dating back a century ago.
James Morse, chief executive of Next Colour, which is carrying out the work, said: "The roof is on and the building is now watertight and all of the windows for the new restaurant have also come out, so we now have a spectacular view."
"What we're doing now is preparing the flooring where we have the old 1920's terrazzo floor tiles - that are also in a really good state of repair - which means that they can be used throughout the restaurant."
"We've been able to save a lot of the original woodwork internally as well, which is fantastic news and we hope to see more progress over the coming months."

Eventually, the building will house a 4000 square foot restaurant, which has already been secured by the coffee bar chain Loungers, who run a series of branches across South Wales - including the Ocho Lounge in Penarth.
Vale of Glamorgan Council says a number of high-profile names have expressed an interest in opening an outlet at Nell's Point, which overlooks Whitmore Bay and the Severn Estuary.

Council leader Lis Burnett said: "It was brilliant to visit the site recently and see the incredible progress being made to restore the old public conveniences."
"This project is not only breathing new life into an iconic local building, but also forms a key part of our commitment to enhancing the already fantastic offer at Barry Island for everyone to enjoy."
The old toilet block was originally built in 1923, but has been left dormant and dilapidated. Plans for the site were first mooted in 2017, although development was delayed due to the Covid pandemic and concerns over whether the building was stable.
