More than 40 shops and businesses in Penarth have gone pink to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The town mayor, Gwenda Roberts, has thanked local traders who decorated their buildings to show their support for Tenovus Cancer Care, which is the mayor's chosen charity during her year in office.
Cllr Roberts told Penarth Town Council's annual general meeting: "I feel strongly about raising awareness of the support that’s available and for people not to be afraid of asking for help."

The 'Go Pink' campaign is aimed at raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer in both women and men and stressing the importance of checking.
