Over a hundred sculptures by Welsh artists are currently on show at Art Central Gallery in Barry.
Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Sculpture Cymru collective, which was formed to promote contemporary works and provide opportunities for collaboration and exhibition for artists living and working in Wales.
Their latest exhibit, which opened earlier this month, features 28 leading Welsh artists - including some from the Vale of Glamorgan.
'Meeting of Minds' makes a significant milestone for group, which includes such names as Dilys Jackson, Valerie Coffin Price, Nick Lloyd, Su Roberts, and Sebastien Boyesen.
Their works reflect a wide variety of materials, techniques and visions, providing a unique insight into contemporary Welsh sculptures.
Cllr Rhiannon Birch, cabinet member for the arts at Vale Council, officially opened the exhibition.
She said: “We are delighted to host Sculpture Cymru’s Meeting of Minds Exhibition at Art Central Gallery."
“The exhibition offers visitors a rare opportunity to see sculpture in its many forms and to see the work of artists who have established themselves nationally and internationally."
“I would like to extend a big thank you to all the members of Sculpture Cymru and their guests, for sharing their work with us.”
Meeting of Minds can be seen at the Art Central Gallery in Barry - which is open from Monday to Saturday - until January 11th. For more information, visit the Art Central Gallery website.
