Barry Police Station will be temporarily closed to the public for five days, according to South Wales Police.
The force has blamed "unforeseen circumstances" for the decision to shut the station on Court Road from Thursday (24th October) to Monday (28th October).
It will reopen again on Tuesday morning.
Other police stations around the area, including Cardiff Bay, Cardiff Central and Bridgend will remain open throughout the week.
Anyone needing to contact police can call 101 - or 999 in an emergency - and visit the South Wales Police website.
