There's uncertainty over whether two popular 10k races in Cardiff and the Vale will return next year.
Run 4 Wales says the Barry Island and Cardiff Bay races could not be included in their launch of their 10k series for 2025, which takes in events across the south.
The Barry Island 10k was last held in 2023, attracting over 3,200 runners, but it was put "on pause" this year following talks with Vale Council.
Over 5,000 people took part in the last Cardiff Bay event held in May, but talks are ongoing with the city council about next year, while development work takes place on major regeneration plans for the area.
They include a new indoor arena at Atlantic Wharf and the first phase of the Cardiff Crossrail tram system, linking the Bay with the city centre.

For the time being, three events will go ahead at Newport in April, Porthcawl in July and Cardiff in September.
Matt Newman, Run 4 Wales chief executive, said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing our 10K Series back for 2025. The events are always well supported, have plenty of atmosphere and a chance for the whole family to get involved with a number of supporting junior and family-fun races happening alongside."
A spokesperson added that if either the Barry Island or Cardiff Bay races go ahead next year, participants will be able to access equivalent entry discounts to those being offered for the current three-race series.
