A Barry-based Archer and owner of True Aim Activities has become the UK Champion in IFAA Field Archery Shooting Adult Female Barebow Recurve.
Theresa Goodwin-Harrison has been shooting since 2013, having represented Wales for the Welsh Field Archery Association and internationally.
It's the latest in a growing list of achievements for Theresa, including 2nd in Europe in 2015, World Champion in 2016, Welsh Champion for Indoor and Outdoor in 2014 and 2020 and a finalist in Entrepreneur of the Year at Bro Radio's Community Awards 2025.
In a post on social media, Theresa said, "It was an epic weekend of archery, with blazing heat and challenging terrain. From 20 feet to 80 yards, every shot was uphill, downhill, and across valleys, even with sight marks and measured distances, it took serious focus and skill. But she kept strong, calm, and consistent all the way through."
"What makes this even more special is how closely it ties to what we do here at Fonmon Castle. Our forest archery sessions are built around the same core, adapting to nature, learning to judge distances, and shooting in the woods, no matter the weather or terrain."
Theresa took her love of Archery to create True Aim Activities, based at Fonmon Castle near Rhoose. The site offers a range of activities including Archery, Axe Throwing and Forest Activities.
