A retired social worker has died in hospital after he was hit by a car in Cardiff Bay last month.
Brad Craven was out riding his bike when he was struck by a blue fiat 500 on Dunleavy Drive in Grangetown on Saturday 17th May.
The 72 year-old from Roath was criticially injured in the collision and died last Friday.
A 19 year-old man from Sully was arrested and remains under investigation.
Earlier this month, a 24 year-old woman from Dinas Powys was banned from driving after she appeared in court in connection with the incident.
In a statement via police, Mr Craven's family said: "He was a confident and experienced cyclist and was with his brother on their usual morning cycle when he suffered fatal injuries and did not regain consciousness following a head-on collision."
"Brad, a retired social worker at Llandough Hospital, will be remembered by all, as a very thoughtful and caring man who always put the welfare of others before his own."
South Wales Police say their investigation is now being treated as a fatal RTC - they are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision, which occurred at around 8.40am on 17th May.
The Fiat 500 involved was travelling in the opposite direction at the time.
Jay Morgan (24) from Dinas Powys was charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and also allowing her vehicle to be used by somebody with no insurance.
At Cardiff Magistrates Court on 5th June, she was banned from driving for 14 months.
