One of the three men killed when a car hit a tipper lorry near Bonvilston has been named at the opening of an inquest.
Scott Jeffrey (34) from Bridgend died along with Lawrence Howells (51) and Barrie Jones (48) of Porthcawl following a two-vehicle collision on the A48 on 1st April.
Pontypridd Coroner's Court heard the three men were travelling towards Barry in a blue Ford Puma car, when it crossed into the path of a red and black Scania lorry at just before 5 pm.
Mr Jeffrey, Mr Howells and Mr Jones were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr Howells' family said they were "devastated" by their loss, while Mr Jones' parents said he brought "so much life and laughter into everything".
The provisional cause of death for the three men was a road traffic collision, which led to multiple injuries.
A police investigation into the collision is continuing, and the hearing was adjourned until a later date.
