CCR Energy has thanked South Wales Fire and Rescue Service for its swift response following a fire breaking out at the former Aberthaw Power Station on Thursday.
In a statement on Friday afternoon, CCR confirmed that the emergency response has now concluded.
A spokesperson said "Crews left the scene around midnight, and a reinspection took place this morning. No signs of heat, smoke or fire were identified in the building."
"We would like to thank South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and all responding agencies for their swift and professional response. We are also grateful to our partners, local residents, stakeholders and the wider community for their patience, understanding and support throughout the incident."
