Police remain on the scene of a house fire in Riverside Place, off Cardiff Road in Barry. The fire was first reported late on Wednesday afternoon.
Parts of Cardiff Road and Palmerston Road were closed yesterday whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
South Wales Police say evidence of a large-scale cannabis cultivation, spanning multiple rooms including the attic, has been found in the property.
There was no one in the house at the time of the fire, neighbouring properties were evacuated, and there are no reported injuries.
A joint investigation between South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Services remains ongoing.
