A lot has happened since Nessa got down on one knee in Barry...
The BBC has released the first official photograph from the upcoming Gavin and Stacey finale.
The hit comedy's four main characters, Smithy (James Corden), Gavin (Matthew Horne), Stacey (Joanna Page) and Nessa (Ruth Jones) are seen leaning against a brick wall, similar to one of the first images of the cast released 17 years ago.
The final episode, which was filmed in Barry and Dinas Powys earlier this year, is set to air on BBC One on Christmas Day.

With the newly released photo, the BBC has also released an official synopsis of the episode.
"Taking place five years since Nessa went down on one knee declaring her love for Smithy and asking him to marry her, where a lot has happened since."
"In Barry, Bryn’s packing the Picasso in readiness for a trip to Essex; Stacey and Gavin are looking for new ways to spice up their seventeen-year marriage and Gwen is behaving most strangely. Nessa’s started a new business venture and Neil the Baby’s about to begin an apprenticeship with his dad."
"Over in Billericay, Pam is stressing out at the prospect of playing hostess, not helped by a newly retired Mick practising his golf swings in the living room and there have been more ups and downs in Pete and Dawn’s relationship. Join us on the journey to Barry and Billericay as we catch up with the Shipmans and the Wests for the very last time and maybe find out what exactly happened on that fishing trip."
Gavin & Stacey: The Finale is expected to be a 90-minute long episode, airing on BBC One and Player on Christmas Day, with timings to be announced in due course.
