An international guitar duo will be performing at the Barry Arts Festival later this month.
Justin Adams and Mauro Durante topped the World Music Charts last December with their album 'Sweet Release'.
They will be appearing at St Mary's Church on Holton Road on Friday 25th April.
Adams has recorded and toured with Robert Plant's band, as well as working alongside bass guitarist Jah Wobble and the late Sinead O'Connor.
Durante is probably best known as lead vocalist, violinst and percussionist with the Italian ensemble CGS (Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino), which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Together, the pair won rave press reviews for their 2021 album, 'Still Moving', described by the likes of The Guardian and Le Monde as "unexpected as it its captivating".

Both Adams and Durante share a fascination for global rhythms, particularly Arabic music and African trance blues, mxed with the pizzica songs and rhythms of southern Italy.
