Police have confirmed the death of a man at a property on Main Street in Barry, following reports of a fire.
Police were called to an address at Main Street, Barry, at 9.05am on Saturday 2nd May.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics also attended, and a man was found deceased inside the property. His next of kin has been informed.
A joint investigation is underway between South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
The road at Main Street will remain closed for some time while investigations take place
