Cowbridge town centre's Halloween hunt has been hailed a success by organisers.
Over 90 children and their families took part in the event, which saw 20 traders team up to set up spooky trails.
The hunts were also aimed at encouraging more people to visit independent shops in the town centre.
After finding picture clues and quiz answers up and down the high street, everyone who completed the hunt won a prize from The Pencil Case, a gift and stationery shop on Eastgate.
Sally Stephenson, owner of The Pencil Case, said: "We are delighted with the success of this year’s Cowbridge Halloween Hunt."
"Tickets sold out well in advance, and we had so many people turning up on the day also hoping to join in the fun. In all, about 90 children and their families took part!"

“This year we organised two hunts - one for younger children and their grown ups to find picture clues hidden in 20 shops up and down Cowbridge high street, and a second hunt for older children who wanted to go off exploring on their own. They had to find the answers to some challenging questions and spell out a secret word to win a prize."
“The children looked fantastic dressed up in their Halloween costumes - we had witches, skeletons, spiders and even a triceratops!"
"The grown ups enjoyed visiting Cowbridge’s wonderful independent shops, with some parents discovering businesses they hadn’t previously known anything about. The weather was perfect too. There was a real buzz on the high street all day as everyone had so much fun exploring our lovely town."
Attention is now turning to the festive season, with the town playing host to a Christmas in Cowbridge weekend on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November, including the annual parade - which features Lumi, the 10ft reindeer - along with a two day market, Santa's Grotto and lantern workshops.
