Two males have been arrested following an incident in Park Road, Barry, at around 10:30pm on Monday, 13th April.
Police say there were reports that a person had been assaulted, but no victim has come forward or been identified. Checks have been made with local hospitals, and further enquiries are ongoing.
An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.
Police say they were arrested in the Roath area of Cardiff around 11pm last night and a car has been seized.
Several items have also been recovered from the scene for forensic examination.
A police cordon remains in place while the investigation continues.
