Barry Round Table and James Danter & Sons hosted a free night at the funfair for local families on Friday evening.
Opened by the Mayor of Barry, Councillor Dennis Clarke the evening saw over 380 people enjoy free fun fair rides, slush and candy floss, before the funfair opened to the public on Saturday.
James Danter & Sons Funfair approached Barry Round Table to host the evening for the second year in row, following a successful event in 2024.
Families from Pencoedtre Cluster schools and Vale Youth Service were given the opportunity to attend, enjoying popular rides like the Waltzers, Extreme, Dodgems, Fun House, Sizzler and more.
The free evening, took place ahead of the funfairs official opening date of Saturday 24th May 2025.

James Danter and Sons Funfair is at Pencoedtre Fields in Barry until Sunday 1st June 2025.
