Two council by-elections will be held on the same day in Penarth and St Nicholas next month.
Four candidates have stepped forward to contest the vacant Plymouth ward seat on Penarth Town Council after nominations closed on Friday afternoon. They are:
- Todd Bailey - Welsh Green Party
- Mutale Merrill - Welsh Labour
- Aled Thomas - Plaid Cymru
- Zak Weaver - Welsh Conservative
Elsewhere, two independent candidates - Emma Del Torto and Owen Tilsley - will go head-to-head for a seat on St Nicholas with Bonvilston Community Council in the St Nicholas ward.
Both polls will be held on Thursday 19th February with voting taking place between 7am and 10pm.
