The Vale of Glamorgan's "biggest Welsh language party" is preparing to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
The tenth annual Gŵyl Fach y Fro will be held at Barry Island on Saturday 17th May, with some of the biggest acts in Welsh music sharing the main stage alongside local schools and performers.
This year's festival is headlined by a return appearance from Tara Bandito, whose latest single 'Marginally Mad' was released earlier this month, and hugely popular folk group Bwncath, who released their third album this week.
Entry will be free, with organisers Menter Iaith Bro Morgannwg securing the support of Barry Town Council as its main sponsors for 2025.
Heulyn Rees, chief executive of Menter Iaith Bro Morgannwg, said: "Mae'n fendigedig cael cefnogaeth Cyngor Tref y Barri' i'r parti Cymraeg mwyaf ym Mro Morgannwg. Eleni edrychwn ymlaen i groesawi pawb i ddigwyddiad llawn cerddoriaeth a hwyl ar Ynys Barri."
"It’s fantastic to have Barry Town Council’s support for the biggest Welsh party in the Vale of Glamorgan. We look forward to welcoming everyone to an event full of music and fun on Barry Island."

Over 8,000 people attended last year's festival, which plays host to a wide range of Welsh culture and music, including performances from local schools, a dedicated folk stage, along with street food, workshops, sports and stalls.
The line-up on this year's main stage also includes singer-songwriter Gai Toms and up-and-coming Cardiff bands Taran and Dadleoli, alongside Barry and Penarth's own Dagrau Tan.
There's also a new show specially commissioned for the festival with street theatre group, the Kitsch n Sync Collective and alternative band Lo-Fi Jones.
For some local school performers, Gŵyl Fach y Fro will act as a live rehearsal of sorts as they prepare to compete in the Urdd National Eisteddfod, taking place during the May half-term at Margam Park, near Port Talbot.
Barry Town Council says one of its goals is to ensure there's a "vibrant culture" and a "thriving Welsh language", by hosting a range of events during the year and providing funding to a number of big events.
Council leader Bronwen Brooks said: "This is a key event in our town’s annual calendar celebrating all things Welsh and bringing more visitors to Barry Island. Thanks to support from the council and other partners, it remains free to attend."
Gŵyl Fach y Fro takes place on Saturday 17th May from 11am - 8pm with free entry. For more information, search online for Gŵyl Fach y Fro or Menter Iaith Bro Morgannwg.
