Llantwit Major and Barry feature in a list of the top 10 areas in Wales with the least rainfall in 2024.
The list of the areas with the most and least rainfall across Wales has been revealed by Online Marketing Surgery and MG Timber
The research has been created as part of its Wales flood report, which looks at wards across the country with the most and least rainfall over a yearly period.
Whilst no locations in the Vale of Glamorgan feature in the top 10 areas in Wales with the most rainfall, two towns feature in the areas with the least rainfall.
8th on the list of areas in Wales with the least rainfall is Llantwit Major, with 1,067mm whilst Barry comes in 10th with 1,097mm.
Connah's Quay tops the list of least rainfall with 976mm, whilst Bangor tops the list of most rainfall with 1,512mm, with Aberystwyth in second with 1,317mm.
The research was carried out using data from the Visual Crossing, which looked at areas in Wales to find total rainfall for 2024. The following is the top ten areas in Wales with the most and least rainfall for last year.
