The Mayor of Barry is preparing to hold two community events later in January.
Cllr Catherine Iannucci-Williams will be hosting a coffee morning at the Town Hall on King Square on Saturday 25th January from 10am - 12.30pm.
Local community groups such as Vale Foodbank and Pobl will also be attending the free event, offering advice about how they can offer support.
Donations will also be accepted for the mayor's two chosen charities - Vale Foodbank and the Shua Trust Home and Sanctuary.

Then, on Wednesday 29th January, a quiz night will be held at the Craft Republic bar at The Goodsheds from 7pm.
Teams can made of up to six people with a small prize on offer for the winners - a raffle will also be held with all proceeds going towards both of the Mayor's charities.
Cllr Iannucci Williams said: "Our quiz will be a great way to raise much needed funds for the Vale Foodbank and Shua and show our support for their work, as well as hopefully a lot of fun!"
