A community garden in Llantwit Major has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society.
The CF61 project, which is looked after by volunteers, was honoured with an Oustanding Award for community engagement from the RHS and Britain in Bloom.
Earlier this year, the garden won another accolade in the It's Your Neighbourhood category of the annual Wales in Bloom competition - receiving the top level 5 award.
Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS), which runs the community centre on Station Road, says the latest honour marks a significant recognition of the project's impact and dedication.
A GVS spokesperson added: "We are absolutely thrilled with this recognition. It’s a testament to the tireless work, creativity, and commitment of our incredible volunteers who have transformed CF61 into a vibrant, welcoming green space for the entire community."
"The CF61 Gardening Project has become a beacon of local pride, fostering environmental stewardship, social connection, and well-being through its inclusive approach to community gardening."
