Penarth is preparing for its annual Christmas lights switch-on spectacular.
Father Christmas will be joining the town mayor, Cllr Gwenda Roberts, to do the honours this Sunday, as part of an afternoon of live music and entertainment.
West End star Sophie Evans will be among those performing festive favourites live on stage at Windsor Road, along with the local Tenovus Choir, blues group The Jools Joffrin Band and Monico.
The entertainment, hosted by rugby broadcaster Laura Jane Jones and organised by Penarth Town Council, runs from 3-7pm with the lights switch on taking place at 6pm.
Away from the stage, there'll be free and fun activities for the family, including the Kitsch N Sync Winter Wonderland skiers, festive crafts with Eggseeds and wonders from Pedal Emporium, along with fun fair rides and games.
