Families are being invited to help Santa find his nine missing reindeer around Cardiff Bay as part of what's being called 'the ultimate scavenger hunt'.
The Cardiff Bay Reindeer Trail launches next weekend as part of a series of festive celebrations and fun activities for the family.
Eight custom-made reindeer sculptures, made of willow, will be hidden around the area's landmarks and attractions, including the Senedd, the Norwegian Church and the Wales Millennium Centre.
A ninth digital reindeer, created using augmented reality, can also be found by using a smartphone on Roald Dahl Plass.
To complete the trail, a letter must be collected from each reindeer and unscrambled to work out the mystery words.
Those who manage to crack the clues can enter a prize draw to win a family stay in Cardiff Bay, including an overnight stay at St David's Hotel, cinema tickets and a boat ride on the Princess Katharine.
Weekly prizes are also on offer for anyone who takes a selfie with any of the reindeer and shares it by tagging Visit Cardiff Bay on social media.

Emma Constantinou, marketing manager at The Red Dragon Centre, said: "We are delighted to be involved in another successive festive trail in Cardiff Bay this year."
"The aim of the trail is to create accessible Christmas magic for families of all ages to enjoy that is free of charge and guaranteed to spread the magic and joy of the Christmas season."
"We can't wait to immerse visitors to the centre in the Christmas magic with our giant light-up Santa ready for selfies, and to be hosting a familiar red-nose reindeer as part of the trail."
The trail will be officially launched on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December with a number of free activities around the Bay including decoration making at the Senedd, puppet shows at the Red Dragon Centre and games and stories at Mrs Claus Kitchen in Mermaid Quay.
Charlotte Kingston, chair of the Waterfront Partners - which represents the Bay's visitor attractions - said: "After two successful years of our Christmas trail, we are delighted to be back to spread the Christmas cheer in partnership with some incredible Cardiff Bay-based businesses and partners."
"Our passion at the Waterfront Partners is to create fun, free and inclusive events that can be enjoyed by all ages, and this event is no different. I am thrilled to see so many organisations taking part to help spread the festive spirit, especially with our launch weekend which is stacked with free Christmas cheer."
"We are additionally proud to be incorporating more sustainable practices in our events with our willow-made reindeer, and exploring how we can provide the ultimate experience for visitors with our augmented reality feature to the trail."
Maps for the trail are available - in English and Welsh - from participating venues around the Bay, including Mermaid Quay, the Coal Exchange, Craft in the Bay and the Red Dragon Centre.
