Organisers say plans are already underway for next year's Vale Food Trail.
Around a thousand people - including locals and visitors - attended the ten-day festival which saw over 20 local producers host a wide range of events celebrating the county's gastronomic heritage.
Food Vale says the success of this year's event has already set a "solid foundation" for the future.
Louise Denham, sustainable food places co-ordinator, said: "The 2025 Vale Food Trail not only celebrated local, sustainable food production, but also strengthened the local food community here."
"It was wonderful seeing producers joining up to collaborate on certain events, and to see venues like Forage Farm Shop putting on special events and tastings featuring local produce and suppliers."
"We hope that attendees of this year's trail were left with a greater appreciation for all of the amazing food being produced here in the Vale."
Among the highlights of this year's event - which kicked off at the Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival - there were garden tours and growing demos from the likes of Ali's Edibles and Ediculture, who shared low-impact techniques such as "no dig" and forest gardening.
A Jazz on the Lawn event was held at Forage Farm, along with a plantation tour at Peterston Tea, wine tastings at St Hilary and Tair Gafr vineyards, a steak cut demo at Rosedew Farm and a sunset farm safari at Slade Farm Organics.
It's hoped the 2026 Vale Food Trail will expand on the range of activities - with organisers looking to engage even further with local businesses and visitors.
Cath Smith, senior food and farming officer at Vale of Glamorgan Council, added: "Eating seasonal and local food is about much more than just great taste."
"It's about sustainable farming, fresh nutritious food and supporting local producers who work tirelessly to produce high quality locally made food and drink."
