A Barry man who acted as a runner for another drug dealer has been jailed.
Michael Cross was caught by police offering crack cocaine during an undercover operation.
Evidence on his mobile phone revealed he was linked to Jack Thomas, who ran a drugs line offering crack cocaine under the nickname of 'Fatz'.
Cross was sentenced to two years and five months when he appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday.
The court heard Cross had been offering crack cocaine to a woman near his flat at Osprey Court in June.
He had tried to discard two street deals as he was being arrested, but officers recovered both as evidence, before finding more crack cocaine at his address.

It was a phone seized from Cross that led officers to Thomas, who was arrested the following month during a crackdown on county lines drug dealing in Cardiff and the Vale.
Thomas had been sending out messages to hundreds of people at a time on his phone, implying the 'purity' and 'availability' of the drugs he was selling.
Cross was later charged with possessing with intent to supply crack cocaine, and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and cannabis.
South Wales Police said 25 people was arrested throughout July by organised crime officers during their county lines crackdown.
Across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, 21 drug lines were put out of business and a quarter of a kilogram of crack cocaine was seized along with £17,000 in cash.
